Re-branding, Re-inventing, Re-doing

Not many people can re-invent or redo  things, but Bloggers can 🙂  I feel like we get to change up things, and re-launch, And that is exactly what I am going to do here.  I have been an esthetician for over a year now. In that year…  I have learned so many things about myself, the people I work with and what my clients look for. Through out this all the main thing I have learned is that I love helping people. This help comes in many different forms. I love, love, LOVE helping those find their way whether it be the correct skin care routine, the perfect shape for the brows( see my brows frame the face post…Brows are the frame of our face post).  I think  it is exciting to have a client who comes in with a just wanting a brow wax, then after much coursing to get a brow wax and a brow tint.  I was hesitant at first because brow tints are a bit shocking to a person who is use to only having light eyebrows without much distinction.  But when the service is over and I go  to hand the mirror for them to inspect my work.  The pure exclamation of joy  from my client, is what makes my job worth it. Showing clients things they couldn’t dream of is why I love doing my job.
Another thing I enjoy doing is educating my clients on what their skin care is doing to them. As with everything in this world going closer to organic, I believe the same for skin care. I mean skin is our largest organ, and if we feel the need to fuel our bodies organically shouldn’t it be the same for our skin? I currently work with Eminence, and OHA. I like working with organic lines because there is a level of confidence in being able to refer a product that will not harm a person in any way. I encourage all of you to try and swap at least one thing a month to organic, I recommend starting with a moisturizer because that is one thing that stays in your body the longest.

Well that is the :

It is Thursday!, I can’t turn my brain off

Ok, brain is a racing…..  I figure I will blog it out 🙂
I had a friend the other day tell me I should teach a class about flirting, how awesome would that be?!  I know I can teach others how to flirt, but taking my own advice HA. It was ironic the same day I got this text about teaching  this flirting class, this girl at school asked me to help her text flirt… yup got her laid hahahathat you .  I know, I know…. crazy…  I was excited but shooooot why can’t I take my own advice, do you know how successful I would be if I did?!

OK… soooo hypothetically speaking… ha…right hypothetical, you hook up with this guy after a good amount of time  of “singing & dancing”  around the idea… wouldn’t you want compliments, I mean not necessarily  compliments, but come on a little “that was….., or shoot where ……  come from…..”  just a little something, something   to say hey  awesome

Like I said… brain WILL NOT SHUT OFF! Figuring out the line between convenience  and sincerity….  like this constant communication is occurring because I am available for it, or because they value the conversation? Same goes for everything else, how to find the difference between the two…  I have a lot more going on about this topic to come later with my blog “he is just that into you”  spin off the idea of  He is just not that into you, the movie and stuff helps you figure out if he isn’t into you…what about figuring out if he is…  I almost think that is harder!!!!

Even though plans change, they only change to allow for the truth to happen.  What is truly hard is figuring out what the change has opened?????

Good luck! & Good night 🙂

Be kind to your skin, it will be kind to you!

We have all heard they hype and talk about mineral make up and the benefits to a person they can have. But what does that mean to you? I will try and figure this out for you purely from my own research and experience(I am not trying to claim this to be that of an educated perspective).

There are so many lines out there that claim to be good to your skin. Well honestly there really isn’t anything that is amazing for your skin, even if you don’t wear make up and go all natural you still are damaging it. It is the sad truth. But, just because there are not things that are good for it doesn’t mean you have to provide more damage to it.
Liquid make up is not that amazing for your skin, it can A) concave into your pores suffocating them, B) trap your own natural oils in your skin causing acne or C)adding to much oil to your skin with its longevity formula. Liquid has the tendency to give you uneven coverage, with lines at the jaw line if not perfectly matched.
Powder is a great base make up, but isn’t perfect. I love bare essentials but every line has it down falls.
Powder is messy, it can get all over your clothes if not applied correctly, there is a small chance of blotchiness. But overall powdered has more pro’s than liquid. It can absorb oil, it has a longer wear and less ability to smudge. And if you opt for the natural kind you are putting less chemicals on your skin which is always a plus.

If you have troublesome skin, just make sure you are washing and mosturizing with hypo allergenic products. That is the only sure fire way to keep your skin looking good. Vitamin D mosturizers are amazing for the skin especailly if you live in not sunny parts of the world.
